Who knew salt bread would be in such demand? I suppose this Brisbane business specialising in small batch releases of it would've had some inkling!
I've actually never tried to order any shio pan from @kosuhaus because the pickup location and timing never suited my schedule. But when @brissie_foodventures said she was ordering some and offered to collect for me, I gladly jumped onboard for a couple to try.
Turns out Kosu Haus gave her some extra and I received a distribution, so this is what I've tried:
• OG salt bread, $6
• crab Rangoon, $8.50
• ube cream, $7.50
I'm no expert when it comes to salt bread but this was crunchy on the outside and soft, fluffy and buttery on the inside - I believe the hallmarks of a good shio pan.
If this sounds like your jam then I suggest you stay tuned to their socials for when the next drop opens (usually Tuesday afternoons) and order early to avoid missing out!
