Taiwanese breakfast spot where I take my visitors from out of town!

Yo whatup guys today we've got some visitors from Perth! Say hi to @aimschia and Jarrod! They were staying around the Haymarket area so I thought what better a spot to grab brekky than Mother Chu's. This spot's older than me, first opened in 1991 by the parents and now onto the second gen. As Chinatown restaurants have come and gone over the years, this family has really made their mark. You'll see Alan's friendly smile there every day!
Mother Chu's specialises particularly in breakfast. Freshly fried long and thin sticks of youtiao that are delightfully light and crispy (how do they do it so well?). Fresh, warm soy milk to bring life into any cold morning. Shallot pancakes, omelettes, some of the best pork and century egg congee in Sydney in my opinion and much more. If they don't sell out, get the black pepper pork buns (like the one's at the famous Raohe Night Market in Taipei). They're the best iteration I've come across locally. But if there's one thing that I'll order every single time here, even to take away for a quick snack when walking past, and as Aims whole-heartedly agrees, it's the fan tuan. Some people call this the Taiwanese breakfast burrito. Sticky rice on the outside. Omelette, crunchy youtiao sticks, pork floss, pickled mustard greens and more rolled up on the inside. What a bite!!!
